September -Stoney Nakota Resort Alberta
THE COLLECTOR CAR GROUP would like to extend a huge thank you to all the public and participants for coming out and supporting us on September 24th & 25th at our "Mountains of Muscle" auction, held at the Stoney Nakota Resort located in the beautiful Canadian Rockies, just west of Calgary, Alberta. It is directly due to your support that we were able to make a sizeable donation to THE HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION, by forwarding all of the proceeds from the sale of a 1962 Impala SS, selling for $47,700, as well as a helicopter ride selling for $650, with The Collector Car Group matching this bid to make it $1,300. Another particularly notable moment for us was the sale of a 1969 Ford Shelby GT 500 428SCJ for $100,700.00. This exhilarating weekend wrapped up with a great performance by the Canadian rock and roll legends, Doug and the Slugs, playing to a sold-out crowd!
The Collector Car Group is proud to be able to share some feedback from THE HEART STROKE FOUNDATION:
"We
appreciate the continued promotion of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
In particular, your match of the auctioned helicopter ride."
"We remain exceedingly grateful for The Collector Car Group's support of the Foundation. The story of the 1962 Chev and your role will be told for many years."
Buyers attended from all across Western Canada and even as far east as Toronto. We were also honored to have some American's come up from California and Montana. A 1969 Mustang Shelby SCJ broke the bank, selling for $105,000! A Mach 1 sold for $62,000 and a rare Brass Model T was a steal at $38,000.

I started working with collector vehicles at the early age of fourteen. My passion for collector cars began while riding with my older brother, who owned a 1959 Chevy Impala 2 door hard top with an 11 foot whip aerial and a fox tail, as well as a 1957 Chevy Belair Convertible. Sadly, my older brother passed away at an early age. Over the years, my own memories and passion for collector cars continued to grow.
While owning and operating numerous Gas Bar Convenience Stores across Saskatchewan, I managed to still find the time to do high quality restorations which were marketed throughout North America, breaking some world records.
I continued buying and selling collector cars as well as attending and consigning at all major auctions: Barrett-Jackson, Silver Auctions, RM Classic Auctions to name just a few. It was during this time that I became well known and respected throughout the industry for my automotive knowledge and honesty, thereby becoming friends with some of the largest car collectors throughout the world.
In 2007 I started "Country Boy Collector Car Auctions". Our first Collector Car Auction was held in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and continued to grow into an annual event. After Five successful Auctions, I've decided to take another step further into the Collector Car world and have become the founder of another great organization were every one can feel Welcome ! and be treated with Fairness and Honesty in their passion and quest for Collecting Cars. WELCOME TO THE COLLECTOR CAR GROUP INC !

I have had a passion for classic cars for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood, my father owned many classics including a 1964 Ford Galaxie, a 1970 Chevy Impala, and a 1963 Falcon (just to name a few). I couldn't wait until the day that I could own my own classic and after what seemed like an eternity, I was able to buy my first car, a 1974 Olds. Soon after, I had the opportunity to purchase and restore a 1968 Mustang. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to have several classics and European cars and my love for cars has only grown stronger.
I first worked with David on the first Country Boy Auto auction. David was kind enough to take me under his wing and has played a huge role in my life as a teacher and mentor. I consider David to be one of the foremost experts in the car auction industry and I feel both honored and privileged to be a part of our new venture, The Collector Car Group Inc.
